One of the many parks that border Lake Michigan, Warren Dunes State Park is notable for its massive sand dunes adjacent to the shore; these dunes are much-used by hang gliders and provide scenic views of the area. The park offers miles of scenic walking/cross-country skiing trails, and the lake is open for swimming and bordered by an excellent sand beach. Set on the southeastern shore of the lake, the park is a few miles south of Grand Mere State Park, and overnight campsites are available.
Open year round.
Free entry. Overnight rates vary.
